Damp staining to lower portion of pages, toning to covers, paper abrasions and old tape over spine in one area. According to an inscription on the copyright page, this copy belonged to delegate Mabel Russell, and was given to the League of Women Voters by her niece. The book prints the proceedings of a round table conference related to business, that included Eleanor Roosevelt, Margaret Mead, and Pearl Buck; the proceedings of a session looking back on the "grievances" and successes of the last century; reports on discussions about the education of women, world peace, government and politics, and more; and content related to World War II, including a speech by a Chinese delegate on the invasion of Manchuria by Japan.
