A cookbook that also served as a “Household Directory,” containing advertisements for a variety of household goods and services that are indexed in the beginning of the book. These include vendors of canned goods, prepared foods, wines and liquors, soaps, pianos and organs, and more. Among the many recipes are one for brewing beer in a cottage. A nice copy with a bit of staining to covers, spine slightly rolled and faded, slight musty odor to book. Item #11108
