Issue number 36 of this Quaker-produced periodical intended "for distribution among the colored people of the Southern States of the United States of American, and Liberia in Africa." The paper was founded by Charles L. Willits, a Quaker farmer in New Jersey who created the Willits Trust in order to publish this paper after his death. Two in OCLC. A nice copy with slight toning, bit of creasing along left hand margin, small tears along margin where removed from volume. Item #12396
