Philadelphia: J. Miller M'Kim, 1844. Two issues, each 11.5 x 7.5", in original printed wrappers, each 16 pp. The first two issues of this reform and antislavery periodical, in original wrappers. The first issue prints an introduction to the magazine, as well as text on the wrapper which reads "The above commences a series embracing some of the noblest productions of the age. The doctrine of Millerism, however wild, contains the spirit of truth, in that the Savior is indeed appearing in men's hearts..." Damp staining and chipping, the latter most pronounced along lower edge of issue 2 (no loss to text), soiling to wrappers. Item #12466
