This guide book of sorts was written to help navigate the new house rules at Monte Carlo imposed by Basil Zaharoff, who raised entrance fees and doubled the stakes at the tables in order to increase profitability at the struggling casino. The book also offers advice on how to be more successful at the tables. The author shares insights as to how the casino operates and where the player's money is going. A very good copy with pages and covers toned, first few pages with very shallow chips to top edge, page block is separated from covers, offsetting to cover along fore-edge, wear along spine, else a very bright and attractive copy of this title that is scarce in commerce, with no holdings in OCLC.
