Alaskan, Columbia River, and Northwestern Scenery." Additional manuscript caption to verso reads "50. Basket Makers, Sitka, Alaska." A nice image of Native Alaskan basket weavers in Sitka, by Bertram C. Towne of Portland, who took many of his photos of Alaska during an 1887 trip to the territory. In very good condition with slight curling and toning to mount. Item #13458
